What this service is

Japan Hand helps visitors set up Japanese digital tickets and ticketing apps before they need to use them.

Many Japanese events no longer issue a simple PDF ticket. Instead, your ticket may be linked to a Japanese mobile app, account, QR code or digital wallet.

The setup can become difficult when the application is Japanese-only, requires a Japanese phone number, asks for verification or expects you to complete several steps before the ticket appears.

Your helper guides you through the setup and handles the Japanese-language parts so you know exactly what needs to be done.

The aim is simple: have your digital ticket working before you arrive at the venue.

What Your Helper Does

You have several events across a trip

The Problems We Solve

  • Japanese ticket apps require SMS verification – Verification may require a domestic mobile number that visitors do not have.
  • Some apps are only distributed in the Japanese app store – They may be invisible or unavailable to accounts registered outside Japan.
  • Registration is entirely in Japanese – Completing the process reliably with machine translation can be difficult.
  • Tickets bought on your behalf must be transferred in-app – The transfer rules may be documented only in Japanese.
  • Screenshots are not accepted at many Japanese venues – Visitors who rely on screenshots elsewhere can be caught off guard.
  • Ticket display frequently requires a live connection – Venue signal can be poor, making access more difficult.

What Your Helper Does

Your helper looks at the ticket instructions and identifies what needs to be installed, registered or verified. They guide you through the Japanese-language screens and explain what each important step means. If an account needs to be created, they help with the registration process.

If the ticket requires an app, they help you find the correct application and complete the setup. If verification is required, they explain what the platform requires and what can realistically be done for an overseas visitor. They also explain how to display the QR code or digital ticket at the venue so you are not trying to work it out at the entrance.

Reassurance

You do not need to understand the Japanese app yourself.

Your helper explains the important screens and instructions so you know what you are accepting and what you need to do. We also check the ticket’s requirements rather than assuming that every QR code can simply be shown from a phone. Some systems have restrictions on account ownership, phone verification, ticket transfers or screenshots. Where these restrictions apply, we will tell you what they mean and what options are available.

Duration

Most setup assistance takes 30–90 minutes, depending on the ticketing system and whether account registration or verification is required. More complicated systems may require additional assistance.

Pricing

What you pay depends on the ticketing platform, number of tickets, number of people and complexity of the setup. Ticket costs and any app or event charges are separate from our service fee. Send us your ticket instructions or confirmation and we will tell you what needs to be done and provide a price before anything is agreed.
